24 Year Old Quarterback Fails To Impress Nfl Scouts

Notre Dame Quarterback Sam Hartman Goes Undrafted

24-Year-Old Quarterback Fails to Impress NFL Scouts

Hartman's Career Falls Short of NFL Expectations

Former Notre Dame quarterback Sam Hartman has failed to make it into the NFL after going undrafted in the 2024 NFL Draft. The 24-year-old quarterback, who stands 6'1" and weighs 212 pounds, had a disappointing career at Notre Dame, failing to live up to the expectations set for him as a highly touted recruit.

Hartman was born on July 29, 1999, in Charlotte, North Carolina. He was a star quarterback at Providence Day School, leading the team to a state championship in 2017. He committed to Notre Dame in 2018 and was expected to be the Irish's starting quarterback for the next four years.

However, Hartman's career at Notre Dame was plagued by injuries and inconsistency. He started just 25 games in four seasons, and his completion percentage never exceeded 60%. He also threw more interceptions than touchdowns in each of his first three seasons.

Hartman's struggles continued in 2023, as he lost his starting job to Tyler Buchner. He appeared in just four games and threw for only 212 yards and two touchdowns. Hartman announced his intention to enter the NFL Draft after the season, but he was not selected by any team.

Hartman's failure to make it into the NFL is a disappointment for the quarterback and for Notre Dame fans. He was once considered one of the top quarterback prospects in the country, but his career never lived up to its potential.
