Parker and Petrakova Welcome Baby Boy Airr in February
LAS VEGAS, NEVADA - Las Vegas Aces power forward Candace Parker and her wife Anna Petrakova announced on Tuesday that they are expecting their third child. The couple made the announcement on Instagram, sharing a photo of themselves with their two children, Lailaa and Airr.
"We are so excited to announce that we are expecting a new addition to our family!" Parker wrote in the caption. "We can't wait to meet our little one."
Parker and Petrakova have been married since 2019. They welcomed their first child, Lailaa, in 2013. In February, they announced the birth of their son, Airr.
Parker is a two-time WNBA champion, winning titles with the Los Angeles Sparks in 2016 and the Chicago Sky in 2021. She was named the WNBA Finals MVP in both of those years.
Petrakova is a Russian basketball player who has played professionally in Europe. She is currently a member of the Russian national team.
The couple's announcement was met with well wishes from fans and fellow athletes. "Congratulations to you both!" wrote Skylar Diggins-Smith, a WNBA All-Star. "We can't wait to meet the newest member of your team."
