Robert Klauß appointed new Rapid Wien manager
Former Wolfsberger AC boss signs three-year deal
Rapid Wien have appointed Robert Klauß as their new manager on a three-year deal until the end of the 2025-26 season.
Klauß, 38, has been out of work since leaving Wolfsberger AC in November 2020. He previously coached the Austrian club for two-and-a-half years, leading them to a fifth-place finish in the Bundesliga in 2019-20.
The German manager also has experience in his home country, having coached 1860 Munich II and Nürnberg II.
Klauß takes over from Didi Kühbauer, who was sacked last month after a poor run of results.
Rapid Wien are currently eighth in the Bundesliga, seven points adrift of leaders Red Bull Salzburg.
